Yes-- In a few years the Tech giants will fully control the entertainment business. The Hollywood strikes, coupled with the billions of dollars studios poured into streaming during the pandemic are devaluing the stock prices of the studios and will push major shareholders to demand sales. Who are the buyers? Alphabet ( Google ) owns You Tube, Amazon owns MGM and has developed a multi billion dollar studio in its own right. Microsoft has cleared most hurdles in acquiring Activision Blizzard to add to its video game empire. Sony owns Sony Pictures Studios along with Crunchyroll, Sony Music, Sony PlayStation. Apple needs to get into the content game. What studios will be bought up? Disney, Disco Bros ( Warner) , NBC Universal, CBS/Paramount are all on the table.
If you’re looking to start posting on LinkedIn, here’s my top piece of advice:
Stop overthinking & start doing.
Messy action over procrastination.
Write like you’re speaking instead of like an accredited author.
You’re human, you aren’t perfect.
The right people will follow and engage.
Those who choose to sit on the sidelines and judge silently will only fall short later.
Be you, you have so much to talk about.
We need to talk more about the addictive nature of social media jobs.
The highs and lows of being a social media manager are intense.
You know that dopamine rush you get someone likes your Instagram post or the disappointment you feel when no one does?
Multiply that by 10,000+ and you have some idea of what goes on in the minds of social media managers every day.
It’s a very real possibility for social media managers to be simultaneously burnt out from the pressure of the job AND addicted to the dopamine rush of posting high-performing content.
Also factor in that often our job performance is measured on metrics such as number of likes and the intensity gets even stronger.
It can be a daily roller coaster.
It’s vital that social media mangers be able to take regular time off to care for their mental health.

🧚🏻♀️ “LinkedIn brand pages are dead”.
Spoiler alert: they're not.
You're just marketing them wrong 🤷🏼♀️
If you're growing your brand page in isolation,
you won't build the necessary trust.
Stop wasting your time (we only
have 24 hours in a day!) 😳
Instead, invest in (as I call it)
Employee Advocacy.
💭 What I mean is...
Dedicate more time to help your key
employees grow their OWN personal brands.
Showing their expertise, building
relationships and always linking their
content back to your business.
This will:
🔥 Boost your brand awareness.
🫱🏻🫲🏼 Build credibility and necessary trust.
🎤 Help your brand (and you) become
the thought leader.
Simple as that.
People buy from people.
When you'll realise that brands aren't
just fancy names anymore but
PEOPLE behind them…
That's when you'll start growing (and
making cashhhh!) 💸
What do you think about employee advocacy? 👀💭
Ps. I’m looking to help 1 new client in July. If you’re a founder, solopreneur or an SME struggling on social media, DM me and let’s talk solutions!

Legally Blonde is as relevant today as it was over 20 years ago.
At the age of 12, I watched the film for the first time. It’s about a woman who decided that she wanted to be a lawyer.
She was blonde, attractive, wore pink like it was going out of fashion, was president of her sorority no less and, wasn’t taken seriously. She encountered set backs every step of the way, but persevered regardless and became THE very best in the profession.
Her journey really resonated with me and I decided there and then that I wanted to be a lawyer.
Because of that woman, I followed my dreams.
Thank you Elle Woods, I did it!
